Taught in english, this comprehensive university consists of two campuses in Montreal that are 7 km apart: one in the downtown core and one in the residential west-end. The city of Montreal sets a metropolitan backdrop for any study at Concordia. With a population of nearly four million, Montreal is known as one of the world's most livable cities. As one of the oldest cities in North America, Montreal is known as "la ville aux cent clochers" (the city of a hundred belltowers), referring to its many beautiful churches.

For recreation, the nearby Laurentian Mountains or the Eastern Townships provide quick getaways for windsurfing, skiing, hiking.

Housing: For student residence, Hingston Hall and Jesuit Residence can be found at the Loyola Campus, whereas Grey Nuns Residence can be found at the Sir George Williams Campus. During the academic year, it is home to some 147 students. Typically these residences are for First year, full time undergraduate students.
