From the Carleton website: Carleton is a great university, and we're getting even better. Carleton has long been known as a dynamic, research-intensive university, with a sincere commitment to its students. Our development of new and unique degree programs and outstanding students services are examples of how we continue to anticipate and lead change. Carleton University graduates are trained to think critically, respond to the ever changing needs of modern society, and pioneer new and innovative ideas. As a comprehensive university, we offer more than 50 programs of study across four faculties, and our reputation for academic excellence in the areas of public affairs and management, high-technology and engineering continues to prosper.
Carleton was founded in 1942. Today, it's physics and political science departments are particularly active as measured by publication rates.
