From the Queen's website: Located at the northeastern end of Lake Ontario in the historic city Kingston, midway between Toronto and Montréal, Kingston, like Queen’s, is proud of its past but thrives on a dynamic present. Old meets new on a campus renowned for its beauty and leading-edge facilities. Housing: At Queen's, almost 90 percent of the first-year students live in residence. Students from all faculties are accommodated in a variety of residences dependent on lifestyle choice.
Among all Canadian universities, Queen’s directs the highest proportion of its operating budget toward student scholarships and bursaries.
International study:
In 1994 Queen's University at Kingston established an International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex, England.
Providing a remarkable venue for study and a gateway to Europe, the Castle is a unique learning environment where students from around the world have the opportunity to pursue studies in a truly European and international setting while earning credits toward their academic degree programs.
The Castle provides both core courses and electives for many arts, humanities, social and natural sciences, business and law programs.
All courses offered are Queen's University degree-credit courses for which Queen's University grades and credits are awarded and for which a Queen's University transcript is provided.
